“Did you know there's a difference between being busy and being fruitful? Did you ever stop to think that just being busy - running around in circles all day but not accomplishing anything - is the same as wasting your time? It's frustrating to expend so much energy and time and not have any fruit from your effort! ” ~Joyce Meyer
Leadership and Power
"True leadership does not mean exerting power over others, but rather learning how
to manage our own weaknesses and modeling the behavior we expect from our team"
~Judy Morley
Creating Your Life
Have you heard this before? Nothing is impossible and that the Law of Attraction brings us exactly what we ask for.
Is that really so?
Do we just sit and think idly and in the blink of an eye magic happens?
I don't think so. What this law is really saying is that we are what we focus on.
If we think about failure, we will fail — and blame the very law that made
it possible!
If we focus on our Good, we will get that as well.
We create our lives one thought at a time, and our lives work when we
are more mindful of our desires than any perceived limitations
(Quoted in part from Science of Mind 2015).
Future
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their
dreams". ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
Love
My thought for today centers around a conversation I heard about Love, what is it? Where it resides and how to find it.
"Love is not a commodity that we look for outside ourselves.
It is not something that someone else brings us to make us
complete. Love is the very essence of who we are. Many people spend a lifetime looking for love and mistaking it for romance.
Love is never missing. We access it by feeling it, not thinking about it, but we must pay attention to the cues that show us love in everyday situations.
When we are paying attention to our emotional lives, we tune
in to the love around us". ~ Judy Morley (Science of Mind)
Beauty!
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart". ~ Helen Keller
Take the time each day to become aware of the tugs and whispers around you. They are conveying a message. If you stand still long enough you will hear because it speaks to you.
Gratitude
“Gratitude creates cheerfulness, which is another way of
being in joy. Some people confuse happiness with joy.
They are not the same.
Happiness usually comes from outside influences: the car,
the house, the relationship — all of these are from the outside.
You may have heard people say that once they receive that
outside thing, they will be happy.
Joy is entirely different. Joy comes from within. Joy comes
from trusting that we are always taken care of, trusting that all
needs are met, now”. ~ Eugene Holden
Innocence
"Be yourself, everyone else is already taken" ~ Oscar Wilde.
What did you dream when you you were young? How much time did you spend dreaming? Oh the innocence of our years.

Don't Give Up
“Don’t give up. Normally it is the last key on the ring which opens the door". ~Paulo Coelho
Perfection
“About 90% of the things in your life are right. Make sure you don’t overlook the 90% that’s right because you’re focusing on the 10% that’s not.” ~ Dale Carnegie.
You Are Responsible..
You are responsible for you. You are responsible for your actions. Take your time, remember to pause every now and then to enjoy the view. Keep on going. It might not always look the way you want it to but know that if you persevere you will get to the top. Every thought, every action and every inaction comes from you. Be mindful of how you see yourself and your future.
Thought?
"Thought is an inner movement, which is largely the result of one’s perception of life and his reaction to it. -The Science of Mind-
Did You Know?
That the man who established the Nobel Peace Prize also invented the DYNAMITE?
Yes indeed, Alfred Bernhard Nobel "a Swedish chemist, engineer, innovator, and armaments manufacturer was the inventor of dynamite. Nobel held 350 different patents, dynamite being the most famous. He used his fortune posthumously to institute the Nobel Prizes".
Motto: Be careful to the extent to which we allow our minds to be manipulated.
Energy & Purpose
“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” ~ Thomas Edison
Why worry?
"Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow. It only saps today of its
joy." ~ Leo Buscaglia
Worry has never healed a body, solved a problem, brought a love
back, or created a problem-free future. And no one, at the end of
life, has ever said they wished they'd worried more. On a day like
today, so filled with possibilities, there are an infinite number
of things we can do to make our lives better. Worry is not one of
them.
