Whether you work on line - all alone all day - or a as a mom/dad or as a carer at home, it is so easy to forget the Joy. We get so caught up in our days, we barely have time to remember joy. We are born with joy inside of us, but with everyday life challenges we have to remember to work to keep that joy in tact.
If you have angels, real or imagined, then they always show up to bring you joy. You have to remember to be still in the moment, if only for a second and think back on something that made you feel good about yourself, or even great about yourself. Was it a hug, or a kiss, or even having that sandwich all alone with no tiny piercing eyes to plead with you for a "small bit" or just soaking yourself in the tub, It doesn't matter what it was, just that it made you feel special. We make place for joy.
Here are 12 Ways We can Pump up the Joy:
- Start your day with Gratitude. End with forgiveness.
- Meditate - just 5 minutes per day makes a difference.
- Show love for yourself by feeding your body nourishing foods.
- Fill your mind with positive thoughts & plans for the future
- Cultivate and maintain close relationship with others.
- Exercise in a way that you enjoy.
- Listen to music that makes you want to dance - then dance
- Find a hobby you love.
- Go electronic free for an hour - or a day.
- Fill your mind with uplifting & encouraging reading.
- Reach out for support where and when you need it
- FALL COMPLETELY & TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH YOURSELF.
Doing any of the above on a regular basis will keep that joy we have ignited and refreshed ready to face a new day.
